Curious to know who here still shoots a 260 Remington Specialty Pistol?
If, so what barrel length, and what MV's do you get with the 130 or 140 class bullets?
I am curious to see how close it is to the 6.5 Creed with the same length barrels.
Pictures are always great as well :)

I do. I have a TC Encore with a 16" custom shop barrel. I shoot 129 ABLR and 130 Game changers in it. I'll have to look at my load book and check velocities.

I've shot my Savage 12 LRP (26"bbl) out to 1360 yd (kind of hard to spot at that distance, not much "splash" at that distance) of course.

My pet load is AA4350 (I got a great deal on an 8lb jug) and the old Horn 140 gr Amax @ 2720 fps, Lapua Brass and Win/ CCI Large rifle primers. It's NOT a flat-out screaming load but it's so dang accurate at that velocity I don't see a reason to change it. I can push it more with that powder and I know for a Fact RL17 ll up the vel. but it's not as consistent (accuracy wise/ ES/ SD, et) but the accuracy begins to fall off with both.

I had a 260 AI with the same 26" bbl that I could push to 2930 FPS using 4831SC with a Lapua 139gr Sec. tip for reference.

My 6.5 CM AR10 has a 22" BA barrel on it and its fav. load so far is the same AA4350 with a 130 gr Norma GT bullet, Lapua sm primer brass, CCI primer at 2700fps if that helps any. Again, I can push it more but didn't see a reason to for ringing steel at 1000yd.
