Here is my load with my first 28 Nosler. It liked 180gr VLD's and Retumbo. It would shoot 1/2" groups with this: Berger 180 Gr VLD Load 82 gr. Hodgdon Retumbo Powder CCI 250 Large Rifle Mag. Primer. Muzzle Velocity: 3152 fps My new 28 Nosler has a chamber with a tighter neck and longer throat. It's built on a SS Rem 700 with a 26" Proof Research carbon Fiber Barrel with a 1 in 8.44 twist. With a Leupold V6 4X24X52 scope, bubble level, a Christensen Arms Carbon Fiber Sporter stock and Titaniam directional muzzle break, it weighs 8 lbs 14 oz. Here is the load data that produces 1/2 inch groups: Hornady 175 gn ELD-X Load 88 gr. RL 33 Powder CCI 250 Large Rifle primer Muzzle Velocity: 3154 fps One thing I noticed with my first 28 Nosler is the barrel got 25 to 30 fps faster after 50 - 75 rounds & religious barrel break in cleaning. I expect the same with this one. I haven't finished my testing with this new rifle yet but this is the load I used this year for hunting. My recommendation is to get a 26" barrel on your new 28, it will allow you to get the most out of this excellent cartridge. Bruce
