My latest build. It's a 257 Weatherby on a Model 700 action. Topped with a Vortex 4-12 scope. So far load development is going well as it shoots 120 Hornadys and 115 Bergers at about 1/2 MOA out to 565(longest range around).

The barrel is off a weatherby and recut for a Remington. This is according to the seller who sold it as a 257-300 win mag. So I'm not 100 perfect on that (it shoots so I don't mind too much). The stock is a factory synthetic, I added weight and refinished it. The action and trigger are factory.

That's a Weatherby Accumark barrel.

If I remember correctly, the threads are the same just some minor tenon adjustments.

Nice looking rifle
Good shooting rifle
Good shooting rifleman!

Nice going.
