.257 Wby For sale. About 100 rounds down the barrel. I am second owner. I have not fired it myself. I have 2 other .257's and thought I'd play with this one but haven't gotten around to it. May have some load data from original owner. This chamber has no Freebore so you will need to be a handloader or will need to have a gunsmith cut the freebore into the chamber. Typically you can get faster speeds and use less powder with this type of set up. Here are the specs:
$1150 shipped to your FFL
Winchester Model 70 Stainless Classic CRF action
Benchmark barrel, 9 twist, Fluted,26" from end of action, appears to be #5 contour, 0.850" at end of stock and .710" at muzzle
B&C medalist stock, tan base with black and silver splatter, 13.75" LOP, might be 14" I can check if it's a deal breaker, stainless studs
2 piece Factory bottom metal
Unsure of Smith
Very accurate with 100gr TTSX per original owner
