My BTD on adg brass, once fired, is 1.651. I trimmed the neck walls .148. I also ran the cutter back into the shoulder reducing some of the prior to necking down. I also annealed prior to necking down.
Barrel length? I would think N560 would be faster than N565.My 25-6.5 PRC built on a 7.5 twist is doing bugholes with VV 560. My next workup looking for more velocity will be using VV 565. View attachment 519906

I just finished up testing with H1000 in the 25PRC. At .020 off 57.5 and 58 grains opened up. 56.5 and 57 almost over overlapped so I went with 57. I am switching to H1000 over N565. I was having to clean the barrel after 20-30 rounds due to groups opening up. In my experience with H1000 in a 300RUM I could go forever without having to clean and groups stayed the same.

Can't speak for 25 PRC, but I use Whidden FL bushing sizer w/ appropriate 6mm bushing along with their seater with the 105 hybrid seating stem. Seems to work fine other than crunching a few pieces of brass - always first new piece in session? What dies do you guys run for this cartridge? Do you use a bushing FL die to resize with the appropriate bushing, and a 6.5 PRC seater with a .25 caliber stem? Or you hit custom dies?

Those are great numbers, funny how case capacity works, that's where I found pressure with 6.5 PRC and 140 Bergers hybrids.I just finished up testing with H1000. No. I was saying I am switching my 25prc to H1000 due to N565 getting dirty quick. When I used H1000 in my RUM I never had issues with it getting dirty.I'm missing what caliber.
No way your only running 58gr of H-1000 in a 300RUM .
But it is only 21" barrel.

You will be fine, I used a SA, the lands were at 2.980 with 134s ELDM, I don't think you'll underperform if you load to mag length.I have a question for those that have built a 25prc. I have a short action remington 783 that I am wanting to build a 25 cal from. I see most people are building these on a long or medium action. I am planning to use an mdt 300wsm aics magazine which allows a coal of 2.955. I have an mdt chassis for this action already. I'm assuming this will be appropriate for this build.
