25 cal - 131 Blackjack bullet

Gunsmith friend and I looking at designing a 25-06 AI tight neck reamer for use with a 7 or 8 twist barrel to shoot the new 131 gr bullet. Hopefully other offerings in high BC 25 s coming too.

Would anyone have a couple of these bullets that you d be willing to sell/ship me? If so pls PM me with your address and I d be happy to send you some $$ for the bullets/shipping.

We think the quarter bore might be about ready for a resurgence!!

.25-06AI, I think would be a 1:7.5" or even possible a 1:8". 1:7" might be too fast, per Blackjack.

I am building a 25SST as we speak, and went 1:7.5" on their recommendation of either 1:7.5" or 1:8". Expected MV is 3250-3350.
I had a 28" 1:10" .25-06AI for 15ish years running a 115 HVLD @ 3450fps. So I think 3300-3400 should be doable in your new rifle.

I went with a 7:25 for my 25-284 and so far so good. No problems at 3150 fps.

If it can't handle a 7" twist, you can use a 128 gr Hammer Hunter bullet.
