All Smith work was done by my friend Leo Conring. If you don't know him, check him out. He built all the m40s used in the movie Jarhead.
I have several of his rifles.
I have a 257 weatherby and a standard 25-06 built buy him so I no longer need this one.
I have fireformed some Hornady brass and loaded it up and shot it without trimming anything. I use the cheap Hornady $20 a box 117 grain soft points to shoot and build my brass. A few of the brass I have formed have came up .0018-.002 short. Not enough to matter to me. I have 20 once fired brass that will go with the rifle.
I will also include a set of Redding FL dies.
I know I'll regret even thinking about selling this thing if it's sold but I can't justify it being an in between caliber of what I have. It's on the heels of the weatherby as far as speed and if I didn't have as many components as I do for it, it would be the one on the chopping block.
I'll take $975 shipped for the package.
Your ffl must be able to accept firearms from an individual or add $40 and I'll ship from my local ffl.
Id be willing to trade for something in a 6mm creedmoor. 6mm Remington. Another reloading setup. Prefer rcbs.
A need a new optic for my prc that's getting built also. May consider other trades so fire away... My preferences are in order too.
