In Spring I loaded my .223 with Barnes 62gr TSX over 26.9 gr CFE223 and seated to 80mics off of the lands using an RCBS Precision Mic, accuracy was poor with 2-3 inch groups at 100yards. I changed the seating to 20mics off of the lands which is were I seat most other bullets for my Browning X-Bolt,accuracy improved to 0.5 inches at 100yards. If I had not followed Barnes' recommendations for seating depth that's where I would have started and saved several bullets punching paper.

80 micrometers? Thats only about .003". Am I misunderstanding? Barnes typically likes .020 or more jump. My rifles like .050 and one likes .1"
