.223 Rem. 8208 IMR

i have a new custom .223 rem being built. should have it in a couple weeks

my builder says his customers are having great results with IMR 8208 and the 75gr ELDM. it has an 8 twist Proof Carbon barrel.

anyone have luck with this combo? please share data

I have had great luck with 8208. I have not shot over a 69 gr though

I've been running at 73gr Berger over 8208XBR and had excellent success. If you want load data I can grab it for you tonight.

I use it with 77 grain Nosler custom competitions. This is in an 18" AR-15 and it is very consistent. 23.2 grains. I worked up to it .1 at a time.

My load is very slightly over book so I will not mention it but you should find a very nice accuracy node in that area if your so inclined.
