What distance and speed would you say a 50gn v-max will fail to expand at out of a .222 firing 3000 fps, just a query off some of you knowledgeable shooters thanks in advance

It would have to be less than 1000fps.
I had 50g lead tip bullets still expanding down to 1200fps in wet newspaper.
Whatever range that is is where you can expect no expansion beyond that.

hi thanks, have you any idea what range i would get above 1500fps, im shooting the odd fox now and again at 300yds, what im trying to find out is just how far the max would be on foxs as i shoot over a 100 every year thanks andy
