220 ELD-X for 300 WBY

IMR 7828 pushes a 208 grain to 2950fps with 78 grains. It will push the 215 hybrid to 3000 fps with the same charge. I would think it would do well with the heavier Hornady, Reloader 25 might be a good one as well...
The longer bearing surface will be ideal in the long throat Weatherby but, I have no problem tuning any bullet I try in it.... I wouldn't hesatate to try Reloader 26 or 33 either...

Hard to say.... the Retumbo I have has been sitting around for 2 years or so.
I've been without a GOOD 300 Win for a while now.
Was whining about the belt,etc... be decided to say screw it and get another one.

I do miss the Ruger#1 I had in 300 Winny.
She'd throw a 180 SST at 3250 and a 200 Speer Hotcore at 3150 ALL day long at 1/2moa... Retumbo seems to be my "lucky penny" when it comes to that cartridge.
