I'm new to this sight, but I have just built a 22 Creedmoor on a 700 Remington action, it has 28" 1-8 twist Barrel. Looking for advice on powder for shooting 75 grain Berger's, any advise would be helpful.

I shoot them frequently on prairie dogs, coyotes and annually on Sage Rats. Mostly run a 22" custom with a can! Have used H4831, H4350, N550 and RL26. Best if u have it is RL26. N550 gets very temp unstable when getting upper end Velocity. Currently using Starline SR Primers using Rem71/2 BR primers with H4350. Have shot 22-250. 22-250AI, 22-243imp for years but really much prefer the 22 Creedmoor
The Berger 75gr has been excellent and just did a ladder test on a friends rifle with 26" using W760 in Starline SR and it really shows promise with both Berger 75 & 80's and 75 GR Hornadys

Varget, H4350, and H1000 are the most common powders used with the 22 Creedmoor. Varget and the faster propellents finding favor with the light weight bullets in the 50gr range while H4350 and H1000 being used with the 75- 80gr class bullets.

I just acquired 2 lbs of RL26 so I will be giving it a try. What kind of velocities are you getting from a 22" barrel?
With current load of RL26 3455 without the can but it is clearly near max. the H4350 accuracy is good but Vel is 3340 but low SD & ES. N550 at 41.6 gr is way hot and very temp unstable both low and high, at 40.5 gr it is ok with SRP Starline in temps 45-60degree vel is 3390. My ladder test with H100 was not satisfactory. safest powder is clearly H4350. RL26 has promise but is on hold til I get more of it. 37.5 of W760 may be the ticket also. This gun is throated long and I'm 20 off the lands.
