22 Caliber Varment Bullet

I AM LOOKING FOR AN EXPLOSIVE IMPACT VARMENT BULLET TO SHOOT OUT OF A 22-250 (1/12 TWIST) THAT WILL HOLD TOGETHER FOR DOWN RANGE IMPACT. I HAVE HEARD THAT SOME OF THE BULLETS ON THE MARKET WONT HOLD TOGETHER OVER ABOUT 3200FPS. I RELOAD AND LOOKING AT GETTING AROUND 4000 FPS ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Not sure what bullet weight your wanting to shoot,but the VMaxes,Ballistic Tips and a host of others should fit your needs.I just got a 12 LRPV with the 1-12 twist and am going to try the 60 gr Vmaxes and JLK's 60 gr LDs as soon as I get it set up with a scope.

If your wanting 4000 fps your going to have to shoot the 40gr ballistic tip. the 55gr balistic tip and vmaxs were running about 3650. The 52 gr berger blows stuff up and i got 3825 out of it with no problems.
