Just bought 100 rds of Fed Premium Safari 200gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. Possibly not the ideal choice for long range accuracy (but they were at an irresistable knock-down price!)

I haven't taken delivery of the rifle yet, but in anticipation of its imminent arrival
I'm trying to work out 'come-ups' to put me in the parish for initial field zeroing.

Rearward engineering a BC to match Fed's published velocity and trajectory data gives a BC of around 0.42. Anyone know a more accurate value?

And....I'm a little worried that this projectile maybe a little too tough (ie won't expand enough) against whitetail size game beyond around 150 yards -any thoughts?

According to the database in my Sierra software, that bullet has a BC of .392.

I wouldn't worry about it not expanding father than 150 yds. 400+ however, and I'd probably take out a shoulder.
