SOLD/EXPIRED 1st year Remington Sendero

Some sendero variations. - The far right that is my mini sendero. 2nd from right is the 700 LV in a swift. 7mm rem mag. 7mmstw. (right to left)
And I know which one will be mine someday......When he decides to sell it. :D

Hint, it's the 2nd from the left...

This is what mudrunner was talking about. the STW has no sendero stamp on it while the 7MM does have it. My question is did they ever make a 700 laminated varminter like my swift in a 25-06. If so how would you tell it apart from the OG Sendero?

They did make a Sendero in .25-06 that is blued & non-fluted. The barrels are stamped "SENDERO" on them after the caliber. I almost bought one that my local store got in used for $600, but the day I got the money they had sold it that morning, even though they were supposed to hold it for me till I got there. I was kinda ****ed about that one.

And that's not true either......

Remington made the 7mm and 300 SAUM's in stainless fluted and the barrels were stamped Sendero.
Yep. All long action Senderos are true Senderos, but not all short actions are VSSF rifles. Some are Senderos, like the example he pointed out here, with the SAUM calibers.

They made a blued fluted 25-06 too, think I have a line on one :D
I was looking at a supposed original sendero in 25-06, it had no sendero marking though. I think it was a sendero, although I got to thinking it could be a 700 LV in 25-06. Did they make one though?

Sorry to hijack the thread. Len needs to make a dedicated sendero page :D

I have a 1997 Sendero 7mm STW barrel sitting in my gun room, and it is not stamped "SENDERO" either. So, the earlier models might not have been stamped. But I don't know that to be fact or not. Just throwing out a possibility.

They made one that looked identical to your LV in .25-06 because that is what I was going to buy, but the barrel DID say "Sendero" on that one... So, for that I don't know, either.

We do need to have a Sendero sub-forum just for us Sendero connoisseurs.

That was a sendero "OG sendero" as I call it. I can't seem to find anything on a 25-06 LV so they pobably didn't make one. It begs the question, how would you tell between an "OG sendero" ( not stamped) and 25-06 LV? The only big difference I see is the jeweling on the bolt....

I am always searching for more older senderos to add to my stash, a buddy of mine has a 25-06 sendero blued gun he wants to sell and of course I'm in the middle of a build or I would grab it for sure....
