180 grn Hornady IB\'s
I bagged my bull moose this past weekend using Hornady's 180 grn Interbonds. The first shot hit the shoulder and he walked a couple of steps towards a beaver pond, so I thought I better fire again so he didn't get into the water. The second shot hit an inch over from the first. The shot was 160 yards at an average velocity of 3450 fps. I recovered both bullets stuck against the opposite shoulder. One bullet weighed 103 grains. The other weighed 102. This was a Wyoming moose with an outside spread of 50". We'll see how they do on deer in a couple of weeks.
