I need about 20 pcs of formed brass for the 17 mach IV if anyone has some they would sell. Or I can send someone a box of 221 fireball if they would run them through their forming dies I would gladly pay them for their time. if anyone can help me out Txt or call 304-904-1402 thanks

Isn't the Remington 17 Fireball the same as the Mach IV? It's factory produced, maybe it would be easier to find.

I think there is a slight difference in the mach4 and the fireball. Not sure if I can use 17 fireball brass if anyone can give me a detonate answer on the subject I would appreciate it. Thanks

You can Fire a 17 Fireball case in a 17 Machball but not the other way round

You may have it backwards. The Fireball case is 1.420" long and the MkIV is only 1.400".

You can fire the FB case in the MKIV by simply trimming the case to the proper length and running it through the MKIV Die. You can fire the MKIV in the FB as is, or if necessary, run it through the FB sizing die.

Of course with the Mach IV, being a wildcat round, you will run into all sorts of different chamber sizings depending on who made the reamer.

My gun smith buddy has the Mach IV and he shoots the factory loaded fireball thru it and he says it shoot great.Bobby
