I hate to say this but if you find what you are looking for buy it I do not believe it will be any cheaper in the foreseeable future and may not be able to find it period

I'm see you found something but I thought I'd share what I did anyway. You might think I'm nuts but my .17 SHOOTS!!!! I bought a Savage Axis .223 and it shoots amazing with a new stock. So I bought another one and put a Douglas .17 Remington barrel on it. (I already had the dies for that caliber.) Changes out to a Boyd's stock and I couldn't be happier. This gun shoots great. I don't care about it being an axis and resale value because my wife or kids will be selling it after I'm dead. Lol
