142SMK...WOW!!

Well, I got my new lot of 500 142SMKs sorted by bearing surface, and i must say I AM IMPRESSED!

THese are on par with custom bullets as far as consistency.

Results:

0.599" - 167
0.600" - 309
0.601" - 11
0.602" - 3

I also had 10 that had a hard black substance on the bullets -- too hard to be just scraped off.

Sierra will be getting them to look at /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

So Sierra seems to have figured a way not to get 2 different bell curves (which seems to be a pattern seen by several other shooters)

Mike--yessir -- tough to beat /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

might even play with some meplat trimming for the match this sat /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It pretty much came down to which side of 0.6000 it gravitated towards /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
