Do you think a 11" twist barrel will spin a 200 grain accubond out of a 300 wsm? I just bought a Sako 75 finnlight and did not realize it was a 1 in 11" twist.

I would recommend 180 E-Tips or 168 TTSX's. These would be pushing it. The 300 WSM is not favorable to long bullets (especially with a narrow ogive) due to magazine length and powder displacement.

And I agree with jwp that a 1:11 would not do a good job spinning the 200 AB.

Well if it will stabilize the bullet I am going to try to work up a load. The 200 grain accubond looks like it would be a great long range bullet. I didn't want the excess recoil of a 300 ultra so I bought the shortmag. This gun will be my primary hunting rifle with the occasional long range shots. I already have the big 338 for dedicated long range work. Maybe I'll post the results when I get it all fingered out.
