It just came over in my mail that Obama has orderd the destruction of 1,000,000 M1GARANDS
that were coming back from Korea. I hope he gets his crap together, he just walked over the second amendment.

I heard the oposit that they would be for sale. I thought the import was blocked at first then they let them in. Why would they import them from the lend lease and then chop them up?

Other than despising politics in general, my comment is if Obama is done, who is the replacement?

None of the wannabe's have shown me anything that would make me feel that if they were in office, that our Second Amendment rights would be secure, other than Ron Paul.

Certainly not Mitt and certainly not Newt. I'm in a 'no faith' position with Santorum.

For the life of me, I can't understand why the highest ranking office in the country attracts those with the most baggage.

There has to be someone out there qualified to lead that respects the Constitution and the will of the people.

I fear, they way the Republican run up to nomination is going, Obama will secure another term and that could be devistating not only to the country, but to owners of firearms, in general.

Very uncertain times right now.

Thought the M1s were Korean property now and that they would be selling them. I don't believe Obama can just destroy them. Wouldn't put it past him if given the opportunity but i didn't think that was the case here. I sure hope not i would like to have one. The other thing is that the Obama administration might seize them and hand them to drug dealers.

The issue is the rifles are on loan from the United States through the Lend Lease program and Korea doesn't want to just return them they want to sell the U.S. property back to the U.S.

Collectors are also afraid that they would dilute the market and reduce the value of their rifles.

Last I heard was Korea was keeping them but I haven't seen any recent updates.

However, while Obama is a closet anti-firearm, socialsit pig, Hillary and Reid are more up front. Hillary will sign the UN Arms Treaty and Reid will never bring it to a vote in the Senate and under the Versallies Treaty it will become the law of the land even overriding the Second Amendment.

Places like this where we all discuss our passion will cease to exist because we won't have any firearms to possess and those that do, will have one, possibly 2 and pay dearly for them. No handguns, no 'assualt type rifles like AR's, no 50 calibers, nothing exciting. Just an old shotgun and possibly a 308. Ammo will be prohibitively expensive because there will be an enormus surtax on it, much like the government did to evil (yeah right) tobacco.

We talk about this at the club and with buddies and the comment is always 'I will never give them (government) my guns'......

Wrong. Look back at Hurrican Katrina and the imposing of martial law and the subsequent confiscation of all firearms, door to door searches without warrant......

I hope citizens like you realize that the government has been stacking the deck against you for years. things like the Patriot Act will get you. American troops can fire on American Citizens.... keep that in mind. You are out gunned, out smarted and you paid for the training and technology that in the end, is gonna take your guns and your freedom.

Due process and innocent until proven guilty is a joke now.

Now Hillary is about to do Obama's dirty work and dirty deeds and Reid will close the door on the Second Amendment.

5 years from now, we will look back and wonder where the 'freedom' went.

Enloy it now because it's about to end unless people adtually get together and stand for something other than entitlement. I doubt that will happen.

November 8th, I'll be in NM on a hunt and I'll be sure I don't have a radio to listen to.

I don't really want to know. I'm afraid it's inevitable.

Even my wife, who is a devout, card carrying, wall pounding Democrat, realizes that Obama is garbage, his policies are garbage, he's a socialst pig and the 'earn while you learn' isn't about change or putting any change in anyones pockets except those who look for entitlement. She's voting Republican and I'm proud of that, not that Rommney is the cure all because he isn't, but at least he isn't into prostituting the Constitution and Bill of Rights, just what makes us different from the rest of this sorry arsed globe we live on.

I farm and I own quite a few acres myself. There is no place to hide anything. Big brother has the technology, the stealth and the resources to find anyrhing they want to, when they want to.

Believe me, you can't hide nor can you hide anything. The best recourse is to remove the offending politicians, by any legal means at any cost.

Next time you have to relieve yourself in the woods, keep in mind that up in the sky, someone may be watching. ......

I know a bit about some of the surveilance technology the government invests in, with your tax money. The stuff tou see advertised as 'stealth' in gun magazines and such, is backwater seconds.

They have optics that can 'see' a speck of fly dung at 1000 yards in total darkness and digitally aim a recoilless rifle to blow that speck of dung, away.

You can't have those weapons and you can't afford them either, because you don't spent tax money. You give tax money.....
