Help with Swarovski scope for my 6.5PRC rifle

I hunt big game with my Nosler M84 Mountain carbon Rifle chambered in 6.5PRC and love it. Currently the rifle has the VX-5HD 4-20X52 CDS-TZL3 SIDE FOCUS TMOA scope. I chose the Leupold VX5 because I was looking to keep the rifle light weight. Im going to remove the scope and selll it. My...

    Swarovski spotter?

Hello all, I am in search of a spotting scope. I’ve narrowed it down to the Swarovski Btx and the Swarovski ATC. I don’t have a retail store within 5 hours of me to try either of them out. I would love to have the btx as I would use it almost daily to look out my porch and glassing from the...

In need of help deciding on my next rifle scope

I am putting together a mountain hunting rifle and need help deciding on what rifle scope to put on it. The rifle is an Alamo Precision Rifle chambered in 7 PRC. The maximum distance I expect to shoot an animal is around 800 yards. I am looking for a lightweight rifle scope that is easy to dial...

    Looking for Leica 3200.com

I’m looking to pick up a pair of Leica 3200.com binos for my dad for Father’s Day. Does anyone know where I could pick them up for a deal or does anyone have a coupon code for somewhere that has them? Thanks!

1/4" clicks or 1/4 moa clicks

So 1 moa is 1.047". I'm looking at a swarovski Z5 scope that has 1/4" clicks and want to be able to use my br2500 rangefinder. The 2500 rangefinder doesn't out put in 1/4" only moa. Is this a big thing to worry about? At 1000 yards there would only be .47" of difference right?

Spreadsheet to compare rifle scope weights for lightweight build

In case anyone is interested; made a google doc spreadsheet to compare the scope options based on their weight (Im trying to decide on the lightest/best glass/most light/most power scope for a lightweight longish range deer/elk rifle). Let me know if I am missing any decent glass that is light...

new swaro Z5 2.4-12x50 for lightweight build

In considering the many compromises associated with a "lightweight" or "ultralight" hunting rifle build... I've been debating what the ultimate lightweight scope might offer: Seems like the scopes with the best glass/decent power/adjustable turrets all weigh well over 20, if not 30 plus ounces...

    Swaro Z5 elevation knob question

I've got a Z5 3.5-18x44 with a capped elevation knob hanging out in my safe. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket "ballistic turret" option to turn this into a scope I could use to dial for elevation? I know I could send it in to Swaro to put their color-coded system on it, but I just...

    Nightforce ATACR vs Swarovski X5

I have a nightforce atacr 5-25 and a swarovski x5 5-25. I've checked both out on guns the last couple days. In the morning and evening they both have about the same clarity in my mind. The turrets on the atacr are maybe a little nicer than the x5 but other than that they are pretty close in...

    Zeiss V6 5-30x50 opinions?

Has anyone used the Zeiss V6 5-30? How does it stack up to the other high end scopes in that class? Leupold VX6-hd, Nightforce SHV, and Swarovski? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Colby
