    Having trouble sighting in

I recently bought a Remington 700 Sendero chambered in 300 Wby. I installed nightforce 20MOA picatinny rail, 30mm ARMS throw lever rings, and a VX5 3-15x44 CDS-ZL2 scope. Problem is I’m shooting about 2’ high at 100 yards and don’t have enough adjustment in the turret to compensate.

R700 XCR 338 Rem Ultra Mag - case extraction issue

Guys, my problem is nothing special. I've bought older XCR Gen 1 rifle in 338 RUM. I have some Federal cases from factory ammo and new unused Remington cases. The Federal's bottom of the case measures around 0.533", no problem with it. It flies nice far out by repeating. The bottom of the Remmy...

    Bighorn Origin Build

I'm in the process of gathering parts for an Origin build. I would like this to be done with the barrel nut so I can work on it myself (I've done Savage barrel swaps). I currently have a McMillan Gamestalker that has the Remington Sendero inlet. My question is, will I be able to easily sand...

Stocky’s all terrain classic sporter or krux iota

So I’m thinking of shedding some weight on the Sendero. The Stocky’s All Terrain Classic Sporter weighs in at weight of 26oz being carbon fiber and aluminum pillars. So I’m leaning towards getting a carbon fiber stock for weight reduction. Any first hand experience with this stock? Other light...

Steel barrel contour to match proof sendero inlet

Hi all, Anyone know/ have pictures of the closest contour to match a proof sendero inlet, or have an exact diagram for the proof sendero barrel? How does a Rem Varmint look in that barrel channel? My stock is set up for a carbon sendero and i'm looking to get a steel barrel but would like it...

Sendero sfii 7mm Rem mag eld-X 175 grain load help

New to the forum and a fairly new to reloading. I have a Remington Sendero Sfii in 7mm Rem mag, with factory 26 in 1:9.25 twist barrel with O.A.L. Of 2.746 touching lands. Have read that this set-up will shoot the heavy pills (175-180's) quite well. So looking at loading up some 175 grain...

Should I keep the Factory Sendero stock or get a Grayboe terrain

Right now I’m having some modifications done on my Sendero. It’s getting a new trigger and new barrel. So I’m wondering how these Grayboe stocks stack up to the factory HS Precision Sendero stock. I like the idea of more slender forend on the stock . We’re sorta doing a Gunwerks style build...

    Rebarreling a Sendero 7mm RUM

I have been hunting with a second-generation Remington Sendero in 7mm RUM for the last several years. I have taken a moose, black bear, elk, whitetail, boar, and even a grouse with it. I am only at about 350 rounds down the barrel, but I recently moved to CO and now have a place to practice out...

Sendero 300 RUM; Shoot it, re-barrel it, or build new?

I'm trying to decide which direction to go and I don't know if I'll ever actually make it out West again or not, but I'm getting a serious itch to get ready for an elk hunt. I have a Remington Sendero 300 RUM original version. It's 26", 10 twist and throated who knows where thats never been...
