Been a while since we last hunted mule deer, and on coues deer the skirt is smaller, but both of last weekend's bucks had nice thick ones. Grilled over high heat and seasoned with sea salt. Finger licking good!

Has anyone went on a guided hunt in Colorado/Wyoming for under $5,500 (this includes elk tag)? If so, who was the outfitter and how was the experience?

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice. I’m not looking for anyone’s honey hole but maybe just some areas to try. We won’t get but a day or two of scouting in before season starts because we’re coming from ND. Any pointers would be appreciated!
