7mm 140 gr. @ Midway (Seems to be Win Power Point or Sierra Pro-Hunter)

Good deal on Midway factory seconds.
.284 140 grain Flat Base Soft Point bullets for a great price.
Make sure to read the "fine print". The picture is stock and may not represent the actual appearance of the bullet.

The picture is the same as the Sierra Pro Hunter picture.

The bullets also may not be sorted well. I have bought bullets from the Sierra outlet store. They always give extras to account for the ones that cannot be used. Sometimes you get tipped bullets without the tips. Sometimes SP bullets with the point so distorted that it won't shoot straight.

FWIW, I found 300 Sierra Gamekings on gunbroker for a similar price. You just have to be patient and watch.

sjt18, you are right about being patient and reading everything you can.

About a year ago I bought some 150 gr 7mm bullets from ole Larry for $11.97 a hundred with similar comments that they were Win PP s but what they were was trash.

My 3/4 moa 7-08 wouldn't do better than 2" when I tried them. Points were beat to crap and jackets were distorted, mis-colored
Etc. $11.97 was double what they were both. Ended up throwing in the new barrel breakin pile!'

PS- Midway also sells factory over runs from time to time. I would rather not take the risk unless I'm willing to blindly buy 300-500 bullets but I know people who have gotten high end bullets for a really good price.

There are occasionally good deals to be had through Midways factory seconds bullets, but they are the exception. I had a friend who notified me that Midway had .338" 250gr Sierra MatchKings a year or two ago that were only lightly tarnished. I measured lengths, weights and ogives and they were exactly what first run bullets equaled. They were also less than half the price of first run bullets. They even came in the big Sierra boxes minus the labels. On the flip side I also see "deals" like the .224" 53gr polymer tip(Hornady VMAX) seconds for $15.94/100 when you can buy first run boxed bullets of the same type for $16.50 to $17.00 from any number of vendors. I'm only interested in accuracy so I stay away from factory seconds unless I know I will be doing a bunch of fire forming.
