Recommendation for tripod for rifle rest and spotting scope?

What is your hunting style or are you target shooting? Your primary use will/should make a big difference in what you purchase. Compact and light, tall and stable, is shooting the primary use or is it glassing. These are things to share to get the most of the incoming recommendations.
One thing to keep in mind is that the base size is what separates the tripods generally. The larger and beefier the base the more stabile it is. Shooting comps you never see those light weight small base tripods in use. Maybe for the spotters but even then, meh. To find a light tripod for hunting and packing you usually give up stability. This is why I run fiesol 3342 with 50mm ball and arca qd. It is the lightest tripod I have found with a larger base and it works very well. Price is mid level vs bottom, which is why people usually wind up with multiple cheap tripods.
I run the Leofoto 324CL with MA-30L head side by side with my Two Vets "The Kit" and an Anvil 30. The Leofoto setup is just as good. I've been told that both tripods are actually made in the same factory
. Two Vets tripods are not American Made. I didn't find that out until I bought one. The MA-30L head is actually smoother than the Anvil 30 right out of the box though I wouldn't say better. It comparable IMO.
I was able to get my Leofoto plus the head for $320 on eBay. The Two Vets with Anvil 30 was about $1050. In my opinion the isn't that much difference in quality between the two to justify $700 difference.

I just came across a Elevate 3 section.
I have been shopping for a head.
I wondered about the Levitate range of motion. do you feel it has plenty?
I have the elevate 2-section and levitate head. Plenty of "range of motion" for predator calling so far.
I've also got the leofoto butterfly leveling head on an older tripod which I've found quite handy as a backup. The leofoto gun saddle is very nice. It's smooth and fast.

Well which ever tripod you end up with, my experience has been to always rely on camlock devices on legs rather than screw tight. All screw type latching I have ever experience has a tendency to slip.
I have the BOG death grip that I use for everything. It will hold your rifle as steady as if it were on a rock. I use it to set up and mount my scopes on rifles to align the scope to the bore and set the rings level, plus I use it to hold my chronograph as well as the larger Leupold spotting scope. It runs around $350, for what I get out of it I find to be a great investment.

I bought the Leofoto SA-364C+MA-30 CF Tripod from Desmond photo on eBay for around $265 shipped last year. The head is a rrs anvil 30 clone. That takes both arca and pic rails. I also bought a Lswild ultralight plate and bag for it as I don't always like to have the rifle locked in. I really like this set up.

I picked up that same deal. Barn burner price on that tripod setup with head.
I have since changed to a leofoto SO282CMX though
To summarize for OP:
Inverted tripod legs are the best thing since sliced bread. Center columns suck. Anvil heads rule for shooting. Arca is the way to go. Leofoto has been good quality:cost ratio. Good luck

I use the Two Vets Recon 2.0 with a 55mm head. Also installed the RRS BTC-Pro clamp. It's not the lightest if you want to pack in but it's very stable. I also use it for matches so that swayed me towards a beefier tripod. If I did it again, I would buy the inverted leg version.

Where I live and shoot it is plenty of range. I don't have mountains, but if I did I would shorten the downhill leg of the tripod to make up the difference. The ball head is great, until you try the Levitate and see how much more stable it is having a lower center of gravity and being able to keep your hand low and easily adding down force to the tripod if wanted.
