For Sale Lane Precision Rifle in .300 Win Mag

I've always wanted a Lane Precision Rifle. When this one came up for sale I had been scouring the internet to find an Ed Brown Damara in a 300 WM or any caliber suitable for plains game to replace the one I foolishly sold years ago. They seem to have vanished from the face of the earth! Then I came across this sweet rifle that was originally purchased by one of the most respected members of this site and being offered for sale. I happily bought it for the Africa trips I've been making for my work each year for the last 25 years. My travel was almost exclusively to Zimbabwe and my free time while there gave me an opportunity to hunt Zim and Namibia fairly extensively. My rifles almost always went with me. But this past summer my assignments were expanded to cover Southern Africa as a whole. Crossing that many borders makes traveling and lodging with a firearm immensely difficult and I no longer envision doing so. So, sadly, I am selling this great Lane Precision. I just don't need it given the number of great rifles that I have for hunting in the midwest where I live. How does this rifle shoot? What can I tell you ...it's a Lane! But I have several suggestions on loads that I can make available to the purchaser.
