6.5 PRC, N565, 140 Berger Elite Hunter

Yup,. N-565 produced, the Best accuracy and Velocities for, my grandson's 6.5 PRC, W/ 140 gr. Berg. Elite Hunters, ADG Brass, F-210 M pr's,..
got him group's into, the .3's and .4's at, 3,100+ FPS ( somewhere round 56 to 57 grains,.. IIRC ) from his Savage, Lite Hunter, 24" Fact Proof, barrel.
Sadly, StaBall HD, could NOT, get much past, the 3,000 FPS mark with, a Full case of, Powder !
We Love, "Throwing Charges" of, Ball Powder,.. IF, possible !

Haven't used 565 with a 140, N560 is your huckleberry there.

My 156 load is with 58.5 N565, Lapua brass, F210M. 2825 fps out of 20" barrel, suppressed.
I like those #'s on that 20" suppressed barrel. I have been struggling trying to get my gun up to those speeds. May give it a work up. I have the same specs. My barrel should be about broke in with 100-110 rounds down it. I have resorted to try 127 Barnes LRX to try to get it to 3000 fps. I have a bunch of the 156 Bergers that I shoot in my 24" barrel and they work good in it. Thought my 20" barrel would be around 2650 or so. This gives me another load to try now though. Thanks!

SO TO UPDATE THIS……
We started at 56 and went up to 60.5 increasing .5 grain each shot. Literally loaded one shell in the house and shot it out the door so temperature was about a 70 degree F test. Myself and my boys all inspected each case for pressure signs. We still didn't get any chrono speeds as it was dark and cloudy. We saw no primer flow and no flattened primers. No ejector hole marks and no heavy bolt lift. Couldn't tell the difference between the 53 grain and 60.5 grain cases and primers.
For now I said let's just throw three shots at 59 grains of N565 withe the 140 Berger Elite Hunters to see what happens.
We also used large rifle CCI primers. These were NOT magnum primers. I read a post on here where RockyMntMT said they could use more powder with non magnum primers and get more speed with no pressure.
Anyway here are the first three shots at 100 yards. About .506" the best we could measure with calipers. Still wondering velocity but looks like a good starting point. Picture needs rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
