Follow up question. Do all custom actions big horn, terminus, defiance, etc lock the bolt closed when the safety is on?

I definitely prefer a rifle that has a bolt lock.
I only had one incident where a non locked bolt could have ruined the day. I was walking in before daylight. I had to cross a creek so I slung my rifle over my shoulder to use my hands to hold onto a tree that had fallen over the creek. My elbow hit the bolt and it slammed open. Thankfully, the bolt stop kept it in the rifle.
