Welcome from Arizona. Home of the Grandest hole of them all! Glad to assist on your climb down!
I'm in NJ and hunt in Bedford County… I don't believe they know of anything other than Leupold and Vortex in the shops there. Then again, I ran into a guy who believes Bigfoot roams the woods of 4A.Welcome from Pennsylvania too! Here we suffer from the endless affects of carbon rings. (Probably has something to do with it being/or was coal country.). We also shoot out a lot of barrels rather quickly. Heck, about all you can expect from a 28 Nosler around here is 400 rounds. And a 26 Nosler? Hard to even line up the scope before the lands start to erode. Optics wise, it's harder to sneak a Leupold or Vortex across state boundaries than it is a train load of infected bananas! Nightforce, Swarovski, S&B, you'll probably be okay. Seriously, you'll learn a lot here! Digest it all the best you can, and trust your own trial-and-error above else. Have fun!
You think Bigfoot is in 4A??I'm in NJ and hunt in Bedford County… I don't believe they know of anything other than Leupold and Vortex in the shops there. Then again, I ran into a guy who believes Bigfoot roams the woods of 4A.
With lots of branching tunnelsWelcome from MT. The rabbit hole is deep.
Welcome from,New MexicoA buddy of mine is a great friend, mentor and shooter. He's been super helpful in my shooting journey that has started a few years ago. Unfortunately, he's a negative influence on my bank account!
I've got a few rifles, nothing to write home about. I'm wanting to go out west with the aforementioned buddy and will need a rifle. I thought I might buy a higher end factory rifle, in a mild cartridge. Then he shows me his latest beaut. Now I'm going down the rabbit hole! He turned me on to this forum, and lucky for him, I'll spread the blame to you guys as well. I'm here to soak up the knowledge and hopefully I'll be able to pass that on to my kids. Thanks for having me… FEG
