G'day all,
Quick query here.
Who has a list of current 264WM brass manufacturers?
In this backward country I live in, demand governs importation, currently, Norma brass, the ONLY available brand here, is on a 12 month waiting list.
I bought Remington 7RM brass and necked it down, but with my custom chamber, it is not quite chambering snugly as I have reduced the shoulder position to that of the A191 dimension that is .010" longer than unfired brass, but I am finding the headspace off the belt to be different by .005" longer than old Winchester 'ww-super' brass I normally use.
I am perplexed, because the belt measures .220" from the case head…as it's supposed to. I can't get my head around the discrepancy.

Cheers.

Hi @MagnumManiac I have just seen Norma 264 WM brass available at The Barn in QLD, does that help you?

All i have is my 24 firing of the same 100 pieces ww super-x from late '70s and early '80s along with 1k of norma i haven't used yet. Not sure who else still produces brass only? My norma brass was like 75-80 cents per on sale. Like mentioned before of using 338wm brass could be the ticket or just neck down 7rm.

I love my 80's era 'ww-super' brass, I have it in 222Rem, 222RM, 22-250, 25-06, 264WM, 270 Win, 300WM, 300 Bee, 340 Bee, 338WM, 7STW & 375H&H. I form a lot from 375 brass, it was easiest to get here, but not anymore.
The other brass I have is in Sako & Lapua to form into 264 from 7RM.

Was hoping ADG 7RM brass might be available.

Cheers.
