7 mm rem mag and ramshot grand

Got a winchester xpr 7 mm rem mag with factory 26 inch tube. I was doing some chronograph reading using 150 accubond I ran loads till I hit pressure backed off 1 grain no pressure but my velocity was was extreme 3376 fps . Has anyone else had this kind of velocity
Yes sir, I get 3355 with 71.5 gr of H4831sc in my M700, 7mm Rem mag and 3440 with 140's and 72.5 gr.

Nosler's max load is 65 gr H4831sc at 3080 or 3130 ish with a 26". Also hogdon data lists about 3200 ish with 150's and grand. How many firings are you getting with those loads? If I had to guess those loads are well above 65k.

No ejector mark or hard bolt hadn't loaded but just a few 2nd fire on all ready fired brass

76 fps is Mind blowing? Hmmmmm. I would expect nothing less reloading over using factory. Were you expecting to be slower? You loaded till you hit pressure....all factory are SAFE LOADED...well under pressure max for liability reasons.
Well I was looking for pressure signs but didn't see any but loaded some 7828ssc only got 3150 same bullets and did hit pressure

So far i have tried it in 6.5 prc bout same as h1000. Tried it in 7mm rem and rum and it alot faster than h1000 and 7828 tried it in 300 win got 3200 with 3/4 inch group with 180 grain power point. Couple hours ago tried it in 338 rum 270 grain eldx bout 50 fps slower than h1000 and finish off with 338 378 weatherby 270 eldx and it was nearly 200 fps slower than h1000 2950 with grand and 3117 with h1000 if any of that helps someone and this took awhile only chronograph test today with the weatherby and rum

I've been shooting this load, and straight H4831 in this rifle for over 50cyears, with no issues. I have spoken with Hodgdon techs several times and they've assured me that my loads are fine. Told me they dropped the loads down to satisfy they're attornies. I've been using the same brass I bought backing 69 and 70. Some of it has been reloaded 13 times so I think I'm righteous!

In dealing with Mag's I have found that what is shown in the reloading manual are safe loads, but if you work up your loads they can be a lot faster in velocity. I don't see where you are off. Just have to be careful in working up your loads. H4831sc is not very heat sensitive either. One of the lowest change in temp changes. Some of the other powder are heat sensitive. I ran into that problem a great many years ago using IMR powder in cooler weather and going into hot weather. Below a primer out of my rifle. Gave away the IMR powder and don't use at all except fire forming cases.
I deal with temper from -20 to 110+ weather.
