2024 Bull

Oh am I envious of such an experience! I've hunted alone most of my life. Occasionally a bud would join me. Now that I am pushing the age boundaries of being able to haul one out, my youngest granddaughter (now 18) has gone hunting with me the last few years. No elk yet, but several other smaller species (black bear, mule deer, antelope, and some exotics). Thrills my heart!
You are a lucky man having a brother to hunt with!
Congratulations on a very fine trophy!

That is a great looking bull! Looks like some **** good mass. More pics please if you have them. Would love to see a clean view of his right side. Nothing wrong with a 168 in 30 caliber.

Hello,
I drew a controlled hunt in central Idaho. Being able to chase these amazing monarchs during the rut was going to be epic and my brother and I would make memories that will stay with us our entire lives! I used my weatherby vanguard 300 weatherby shooting 168 grn Berger. I know light weight. One shot 437 yards DRT. I am so grateful that I was able to share this moment with my Brother! We love hunting elk more than anything. And we love spending our time together in the mountains! I am also grateful to all of you for helping me learn as I have continued to study and ask questions pertaining to long range. I am just really grateful for the year 2024View attachment 625691
Beauty, My dream for sure, that's one outstanding Bull

Congratulations Darrin! Sounds like a lifetime memory hunt.
Looks like he's pushing 300 inches?
Yes Sir, we scored him and grossed him
330 3/4. His fith point on the bulls right side is 16 inches shorter than his left fith. And his G1 on the right side is 4 inches longer than the G1 left. I love old bulls, the character of their horns. There is a blade between his fith and sixth point on his left side.

Ridge, I am very blessed! I helped him kill one if his bulls in New Mexico, 2018. We have chased these suckas every year. And God willing many more years to come.
