Iowa or Kansas draw for big whitetails.

Dang, that sounds COLD!
It is. All of the gun seasons are December or later here, only way to hunt in November is with a bow or early muzzleloader.

The nice part is you get free refrigeration/freezing of the deer while you wait to process it or take it to a locker!

Well I can only tell you on what my decision is. I chose Iowa. I'm doing a late season muzzleloader hunt. I am 2 years out and I'm going with an outfitter. It's a dream bucket list hunt for me. I love my Smokless muzzleloader which is why I had it built specifically for this hunt. I'm going all in. My friend went there with same outfitters and had a great time. I can't wait.
I am sure you can't make a bad decision between 2 great WT states. I've just had a thing for Iowa since I was a young guy. Now I'm going.

If you get your meat processed in Iowa, have it done at Edgewood locker. They have some of the best meat processing in the state, and there's a lot of great options here, worth the drive. They can make maple breakfast sausage links out of it that are to die for, hot dogs, seasoned sausage (to make biscuits and gravy with!) and some other stuff that most or all other places do not make. On the expensive side but for a good reason.

You should have Kentucky om your list We have some good ones look at B&C listings.
We have the potential for good ones. Around here we have a bunch of 150 class deer that have the potential to be giants getting slaughtered all around me by out of state hunters. I can let 3 walk every year and only 1 might make it to next year.
