Does the gunsmith have to remove the barrel from the action to thread it?

If the GS has a lathe with big enough head stock hole, The barrel will be long enough for action clear lathe head stock.
Center on both ends of head stock. May be able to leave sight base and trigger on action.
As for the trigger, Remington triggers are known for having rough sears. Smooth sear and polish should get you to the trigger you want.

Some do and some do not. I do not know if it is the size of the equipment or the skill of the machinist.
Sent 3 to be done at Silencer Central. Seamless process and rifles shoot as good as they did before making the trip….just quieter now !

I like how wide it is. I put a timney trigger in a gun and its trigger was good and crisp but very narrow. I have a trigger tech trigger in my 6.5CM and it too is very narrow.
The wide triggers are hard to find anymore.
