Suppressor Use by Minor

My 16yo son is an avid hunter and we hunt together all the time. He is obviously old enough to sit by himself. Is it legal for him to hunt with a suppressor that is mine? I am planning to add him to my trust when he turns 18, but am curious about how that works now.

I believe if he is NOT on the trust then he can't legally possess the suppressor. That is what was told to me.

I understand just like was said above. I don't know if he's on the trust if he can legally obtain it either being under age, I would hope so since he can have the rifle but you never know with our stupid government.

And I was told a PRINTED hard copy of the trust has to be in personal possession anywhere the suppressor goes. I have one in my gun case and one in my backpack.

Please explain further since this is what I was told by the dealer who sold me the suppressor and processed my application. I would like to see an official document that defines this possible requirement. Hope you can help me out.

Suppressors are federal
Game wardens are state

I was told by a "bi***" of a female game warden in Texas that "we enforce our laws not the ones from DC". I think if you are on the property with the suppressor then you shouldn't have a problem. Obviously I'm not a lawyer specializing in "firearms" law.

@Rick Richard I was told by my dealer to keep the printed copy in the safe and then take a picture of it and keep it in my phone since it goes wherever I go.

Unpopular opinion here since this is all heresy above anyways.

It's wild that anyone cares about rules made unconstitutionally by an organization who's sole purpose is to infringe your rights.

You need to have your Tax Stamp Papers where ever the Suppressors goes and has to be the named person on the paperwork to accompany the suppressor. Our paperwork is available at all times in our shooting gear if bringing any Tax Stamp Suppressor or SBR. SAVES you a LOT OF TROUBLE. We have "TRUSTS" on all our suppressors and SBRs. If you get caught with a SBR or Suppressor and you are not the owner, or the owner is not present with proper paperwork GOOD LUCK!!!
