Welcome from North Central Wyoming!
Happy to see that you'll be spending some time with us ……hopefully sharing your experiences and knowledge!

I've been through Tennessee many times, as well as most of the Appalachian States. It's beautiful country, love the timber, undergrowth and moisture and would really enjoy living/hunting there…….just waaaaay too many people!

Through you, I'll enjoy the hunts and the environment……without the people! 👍 memtb

Welcome LR1 from the great Northwest.
Curious what the public vs private land hunting opportunities are like in TN? My son moved to Ohio where his wife's family is from and it's mostly private with a state run program to connect hunters with farmers\private land owners. So far he's been unsuccessful finding a place to hunt. Went to the aquarium in Chattanooga with the family is the only time I've been in state. Ancestors settled 50 miles south of Nashville prior to statehood and after that settled north of Memphis.

Welcome from SLC, UT
This might not be worth much but I lived in Rock Ford, I'll
For 5 yrs getting my tool&die apprenticeship.
I only been to Tennessee 1 once not hunting and Wisconsin and UP of Michigan now hunting.
I was born and raised in Utah.
And basically grew up into the mountains of Ut and Id.
The biggest obstacle I had in the woods was the lack of mountains for orientation. It's a lot harder for me to navigate with out a land marker.
The only time in my life I couldn't tell between West and east was in that flat woods with cloud cover.
