Had to change my password word to log in. Sounds like there may have been more members with same situation. What happened or caused this- thought it was a scam at first.

It was insane and I couldn't recall my old password since I never have to enter it...
Lucky my phone remembers it!
A members info got leaked from another site. Bad guy put two and two together logged on here and posted a pistol for sale at a bargain price. Of course people jumped on the price but figured out something was up before any monies were lost.

One member gets hacked and we ALL have to change our passwords 
In truth though it seems like this site may have been the target of a larger attack.
Most people can't imagine the amount of work that goes into keeping sites like this secure. Keeping the riff-raff out demands constant attention.

I may be the cause. I was "compromised" …. the politically correct term I've been told.
I logged on yesterday morning, only to find out that someone had "compromised" my account and was attempting to sell a handgun…..about 30 minutes before I had logged in!
I went to several different parts of the forum warning folks and contacted admin! That started an avalanche of folks getting instructed to change their passwords/log in! memtb
