Hey guys, been awhile since I have been around. But, as always, I look to you guys for answers. So here goes....

Back story on this action. It started out as a factory Rem 700 as a 300 RUM LR. I bought it new back in 2014. It was my first LR rifle and I have learned alot about shooting and reloading with it. Fast forward until late 2022, I used that same action and stock, rebarreled it into a 25 SAUM.

Now to my issue and questions...I took the bolt apart to give it a good cleaning and I ordered a few new firing pin springs for this bolt and a couple other rifles I have. While waiting for the springs and messing around, I happened to find some pieces of brass inside the bolt. They're in there pretty good. I tried it take a 3/32 sharpen tig tungsten and go in to try to pick it out, but it's not wanting to break loose. Does any one have any suggestions on how to get it out? I'm pretty sure that the firing pin has pounded on it for some time now.

Good....I was considered that it could cause issues with the firing pin strikes. I assumed that the bolt contacted there as a stop. Thank you again.
