Anyone shooting a proof prefit for the Kelbly action? I am in need of a barrel for mine and would like to get an honest review. I have had okay luck with proof in the past, but they are the only ones with in stock barrels. But, I don't want to waste $1k on a paper weight.

Any reason you don't want to buy a blank and have it chambered by a good gunsmith?
Don't have one locally, the one I do have won't do carbon. Because they make their own barrels

I had thought, Kelbly sold proof pre-fit barrels for there actions, have you contacted Ian?
I've got 2, a 22 Creedmoor and a 308. Both shoot excellent and have no issues. Look at "evolved ballistics" as they're Proofs largest seller of barrels according to Proof. Usually they've got a decent selection. I got my 22CM from them for $800.
