Reoading the 22 ARC in a Bolt Action

Staball 6.5 with a Sierra 77TMK has been lights out in my 18"suppressed rig. I swapped to a H3 buffer that I added 150g of lead to and an adjustable gas block. Zero recoil. I've taken five whitetail from 270 to 480 yards with it since June.
The only notable issue I've had is swelling at the neck shoulder junction that is causing chambering issues. I tracked it down to happening during bullet seating and then also sometimes at crimping. Using a Lee FL die and a Lee FCD. I'm still noodling on solving that issue as it isn't happening every time in the same operation. I'll try a bit of lube on the bullet when I seat it to see if that takes care of it. I am necking down starline 6.5 Grendel brass so I can keep it segregated from my 6.5 Grendel brass. It's rapidly becoming my favorite gun since I've been struggling with recoil.

Swelling at the neck shoulder junction might be from the necked down 6.5grendel brass. Die was designed around brass with ~.013" neck thickness and necked down Starline brass will be .015-.0155" neck thickness.

I have LeveRevelution and CFE223 on the way to test along with some Starline 6.5 Grendel (Nothing like a little Black Friday shopping!). I also decided on the Rocky Mountain Reloading 22 GRENDARC dies. Pricey but I really appreciate their business story and like the idea of supporting a "little guy". Their dies appear to be fantastic and I haven't found anyone who doesn't rave about them. Time will tell. Hoping my barreled action will be in my hands by the end of December. Preece Precision out of Utah had the action and barrel blank in stock and Garret thought he could get in done in a few weeks. Add in the Commifornia waiting period and maybe I'll have it before 2025 arrives! All the other parts will be in my hands within a week. My bench will be busy! Load development in January!

Good place to start looking for sure. I'll have to cut a case and take that measurement. I have measured a majority of the cases now out of the sizing die. A plurality measure 0.426-0.427" with a few here and there a thousandth smaller or bigger. With chamber spec there being 0.430" everything chambers fine at that point. In my case, I'm seeing the shoulder getting crushed at bullet seating most of the time and some of the time at the FCD operation. If it's smooshed at the bullet seating it simply won't chamber. If gets smooshed at the FCD operation it will usually chamber, but extraction is really tough.
