I built a new shop and cleaning out my reloading/shooting shed. Gonna be selling some things I haven't used or don't plan on using in the near future.
This has been sitting the past several years. It's a 16.25" Kreiger 1-8" twist Savage small shank barrel chambered in what was called the .510 Razorback (at least my version). It is simply a 300/7mm/375 Rum case cut below the shoulder junction, a .510 caliber (or 50 BMG) projectile will load right in it. I use .50 Alaskan dies to load, it is just a little longer of a case (without the rim). I used it mainly for subsonic hunting but it will launch a 750 Amax @ 1800 fps (or 350 gr Cutting Edge razor over 2500).
I also have several hundred .510 cal & 50 BMG projectiles and bullet sizing die.
I'd like to get $500 net to me.
I will also cut and trim you some new brass.

I had originally made it for sub/suppressed hunting. The Lehigh 725 grain subsonic fracturing bullet would take down any land animal on the planet. I have never had a deer or hog take a step. Run the numbers on a 750 Amax at sub velocity, it might have the trajectory of an apple, but only loses 100 fps out to over 600 yards at sea level. Folks always get a kick out of shooting my 100 yard plate with an incendiary bullet, the pop and the clang are louder than the report of the rifle.

That is awesome! I am building a 510 Whisper or would be all over this but this is the easy button compared to case prep for Whisper
750 or 900gr subsonic hits with same energy as a 308 with 175gr supers…or very close

I had originally planned on a .510 Whisper, but after talking to its proprietor on the phone for 5 minutes decided I didn't want to do business with said individual. 😂

They are under new ownership now and I emailed them to see if they were still doing custom work, or if they would release Manson to build a reamer to their spec for me…they said no to both. Not sure how you push a proprietary cartridge when you won't chamber it or release other to do it.

PTG has a "renamed" reamer now so was able to my hands on one and get my smith to cut it. Either way I'm not looking forward to all the case prep and cost of Lapua brass has gotten excessive.

You are talking about SSK Industries they deserve any bad words you should say....when JD Jones sold SSK Industries would have been better to just close the doors....
I had many rifles and pistols built by SSK since the early 1980's everyone was done perfect built to my specification never one complaint....then I had a rifle built with the new owner and it turned in to the worst project that could be thought of and taking almost a year and a halve to get it almost right building the rifle 2 times and even the second time not exactly what I wanted costing me a lot of cash....even made me pay shipping the 2nd time to send the rifle to have the right caliber barrel installed....
My rifle was the last that SSK built.....its a shame a company is sold and in months they destroy a customer base that took decades to build !

I have someone calling dibs pending shipping cost. The bullets are rather heavy.😂 I'll report back when I get confirmation.
