Hate to hear! Missed chances with sons and grandsons suck. Hopefully you can double up when you fully recover which I hope is soon! Prayers for you!!Thsi Thanking I stayed home do to getting a dose fo Covid. Man was I sick! 2nd time for me. Different than the first time.
Generally try and get together with my sons and their family, but that ent out door year. Was going to do a little hunting together and a grandson. Sure missed out.
Sorry for your lossAt Thanksgiving, we do the standard family get together and meals.
We struggle with the urge to get back into the woods as the Texas whitetail season is not even half way done (not including periods of primitive methods only).
But we have to stay home Friday to watch A&M Beat the Hell Outta (BTHO) of the 2nd largest university in our state which we call t.u.

Being that I'm not a native to Texas, I will also watch my childhood NFL team, who just happens to be coached by a former A&M TE and whose Defense is coached by one of the best CBs to play for our Wreckin' Crew defense.

For Christmas Eve, it has become tradition to reverse sear the backstrap of a cow (aka ny strip roast) which is served with a Poblano pepper creme fraische.
And I continue to ask Santa that LRH will send me notificaitons of watched posts where I can actually see what the update was when I look at the email, rather than requiring me to follow the link in the email to see what the update actually was.
-17 and it's not too cold????Saskatchewan canuck here, our thanksgiving is in October here but nonetheless this time of year feels festive and fun!
Last year winter saw hardly any snow and wasn't very cold either. This winter we've got SNOW and the kids AND THE DOG love it
It's a lovely day today, not too cold to have a ton of fun with them outside, but still "real winter" like we didn't have yet this time last year.
The dog's name is "Pesto" and he LOOOOOOVES snow, he runs around the yard rolling in at and snapping it up eating it and the kids try to dump their shovels of snow on him and he loves the attention and they laugh their butts off at his antics.
The older smaller dog is "tikka" and can't be bothered with this nonsense anymore
