30 sherman magnum

I shoot 250 grain Atips in my 30 SM and my shooting partner shoots 245 grain Bergers in his 30 Sherman Mag.. I jump mine 5 thou. is all. My partner jumps his 25 thou. He runs his a little faster because he has a 2 inch longer barrel than mine.I run my ATips at 2886 fps. with H1000 or N568. My partner runs his 245 Berger LRHT at 2910 with N570.His is a tack driver.It has been the last 3 years.It shot great.He just pulled the barrel and is building a new one.,It had so many rounds on , (over 1500)it he was afraid it would go out in a Match. .

I went with a cip length mag for the 30sm. Are you guys able to still have room in the mag and not have to jump extremely far or have the bullet pushed into the case a long ways on the 230 and 245 bergers?

Does anyone else have freebore length measurements? Does anyone know what the 30SM reamers on the website have for freebore? Thanks.

My current barrels freebore is .237 and I can load to 3.720 in a CIP mag. I end up jumping about .025 with a 230 Berger. That is why I am concerned about a .290 freebore. You should be good depending on freebore length.
