Trying to get ready for a 200 yard local shoot. Had this ruger 10/22 target lite since getting "free" suppressor, but had not really dialed it in beyond 100 yds.

Shot 3 flavors of standard ammo and then some norma extreme lr22. The norma had 1/3-1/2 the extreme spread.

Zeroed at 30yd, then 100, 150, 200.

Need to get a bigger moa base. Don't remember what this one is. Have 24 moa above zero, then hold reticle afterwards.

Never missed my box in a 9-15mph quartering headwind, so I'll take that as a descent start.

I used to shoot 100 RF bench rest matches when I lived in NV. Lots of wind there, and it was frustrating. I kept cursing the wind until my buddy pointed out all of us were shooting in the same wind. Then I realized it was me, not the wind, that I had to deal with. I scored better then.

The #1 NLR 22 shooter in my state, (who just happens to be one of my 4H kids), got me dialed in to shoot long range.
We set up a steel plate at 323 yards.
Yeah, that's a weird distance but it was as far as we could go on the property.
With a 30 mil scope rail we were hitting that plate with very boring regularity. I swear, from the moment I touched off the trigger, I could have gone out for a cup of coffee!.
Very long flight time but so much fun to do.
Great groups on your target, btw.
