Slow motion bullet muzzle exit

Interesting to see how some rounds the Shockwave/ muzzle blast goes faster than the bullet for a while and looks like it could affect bullet stability the way it pushes against the base of the bullet.

When I look at the suppressed footage i initially thought "wow, no pressure wave/blast to affect bullet stability" ---- then I remembered we are seeing footage 8-12" in front of the muzzle, not at the muzzle like the other photos-- all the blast/wave action is happening inside the can so we can't really observe it--- I have seen slow-mo video of a clear acrylic suppressor before, but it destroys the suppressor

It is amazing to see how little unburnt powder actually exits the barrel, totally unlike what QL says.
We used to deliberately shoot over white butcher paper to visualise this exact thing, some cartridges, like the 222 Rem, had more unburnt powder with lightweight bullets than heavier ones.

Anyway, interesting video, thanks for the visuals.

Cheers.
