Looking for a scope, new or used, to put on a Ruger American Gen 2 6.5 Creedmoor for my son. Not looking for high end but also not junk. Would like to stay in the $300-$400 range but can go a bit higher if needed.

Criteria:
3-15, 3-18, 4-16 or similar zoom
44mm objective or larger
Side parallax adjustment
MOA
SFP
Exposed Turrets
Zero Stop Feature

Might be asking for a lot but I think it's doable. Again its just for a Ruger American being shot sub 500 yards.

I have a Vortex Viper 6-24 that meets your criteria. $425 shipped. Like new in box. Has been mounted on a 17 hmr but not shot more than 20 times.

Realize it doesn't meet your criteria exactly but if you want to save some money on your budget I have a great light scope Leupold VX freedom 3 x 9 with tri-MOA reticle, Butler Creek scope covers, and rings available $225 tyd. Can send multiple Pics if interested thanks

Thank you for the offer but I don't want that much zoom for him, he's just 10. I am wanting something with a lower end magnification for better field of view. I have a spare 6-24×50 HST that I decided against putting on there.

Thanks for the offer but it's not quite what i would like.

I have a bushnell nitro 3x9x40 like new very clear with illuminated reticle for 100.00 . Pm me if interested.

slightly above your price and no 0 stop

Not sure if you can find it for less? Eurooptic only has mil but at a lower price

I have an extra MeOpta Optika 6, 3-18x, MILS. I have four of those scopes and one is extra. I'd do 400.00 on it.

I'm working so I'm on and off but I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks

I have this if interested.

Vortex Viper 4-12x40. MOA. 1" tube. Dead Hold BDC reticle. Side Focus. Does not have zero stop but has zero reset. Capped turrets.

Pm if interested.

Arken may be your only solution, but not sure if they come in SFP? I have a Burris XTR II 3 X15 fits everything you want except FFP and in that "a little more" price range. Good luck

Thinking maybe a Athlon Heras SPR 4-20x50. It checks all my boxes but it's a 1" main tube, which I can live with for this gun. Just don't know how good their lower end optics are. Heard good things about their Cronus scopes.

Thanks for the offer but I'm staying MOA.

Think Arken is only FFP.
It sounds like you are dead set on SFP, but just would like to know why? I myself have gone completely FFP and find it so much easier in the field. When I'm given a whatever wind call, there is no thinking involved, just move over to the correct mark and let her fly. No need to worry about what power setting your on or trying to dial in the wind. Much easier for younger shooters also to understand IMO. I've never had a problem with the reticle being "to big" except for a Leupold MK5HD (that thing was obnoxious) and I regularly shoot out to a mile plus. Not trying to pick a fight, just curious?
