Tikka or X Bolt Hells Canyon ?

I'm looking at the Tikka, hunter or lite, or T3x, Or the Browning X-bolt hells canyon. Money doesn't matter. Just for long range hunting. Looks like both are close in weight. Which one would you go with ??
In my case I have owned both Tikka T3x and Browning AB3 as well as X Bolts. The hands down choice, no matter what caliber you choose goes to the Tikka T3x especially for accuracy. The Tikka's have extremely smooth actions, all shot sub MOA right out of the box with medium to high quality hunting ammo. They are lightweight, have good triggers, mine came from the factory at 2.5 to 3 pounds and the synthetic stocks are stiff enough on the fore end not to bend when using a sling so that the stock touches the free floated barrel. The Brownings, both AB3 and XBolt had wood stocks, which was a plus but the actions were not all that smooth, the triggers had some creep and did not break as clean as the Tikkas, nor where they anywhere near as accurate. Both were extremely fussy about ammo, both factory and hand loads and while the XBolt would shoot sub MOA the AB3 was 1 MOA or larger. I know that there are those of you out there that will argue the points presented here, so be it. I am only reporting my experiences with these two manufaceturers rifles. I have recently acquired vintage Remington 700 in 338 Win Mag that shoots 0.5 MOA cloverleaf groups all day with good ammo. All the rifles above had Vortex Diamondback Tactical or most recently Vortex Strike Eagle scopes on them.

I have only shot other peoples.

The Tikka T3 light in 308 was super with all factory ammo.

The X was a demo rifle. Just not my "style".

If your choice is Tikka or X-Bolt, if it were me Tikka.

I have a Tikka in 300 WSM I've had for some years now and I bought a Browning Hells Canyon Long range in 6.5 PRC 3 years ago. I lean towards the Browning its sweet to shoot and handles well (26") and has the ability to be loaded and unloaded with the safety on.

Ditto for Tikka.
I just replaced the factory trigger spring on my T-3. The adjustable factory trigger was decent enough but the M Carbo trigger spring replacement made it fantastic!

I own both and slightly prefer my X-bolt due to stock ergonomics, recoil pad, magazine, and threaded barrel. Nothing bad to say about my Tikkas, however. They're the 2 best rifle options by a wide margin amongst large manufacturers, IMO.

Not sure what is going on with others browning Xbolt's but I have 3 and they are all shooters.
This is a 3 shot group from the last one I purchased in the spring. 6.5 CM 140 BT

The blur... if you are in the market i have a brand new never shot tikka t3x hunter in 7mm-08 id sell ya for a good price? its a superb gun and beautiful just dont see myself shooting it as i love my 6.5PRC message me if you are interested thanks

My preference would be the Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon LR. I've got one. Proven Killer and accurate to boot. Mine is a 28 Nosler.

It's been 1/2 MOA accurate, and I've shot it successfully on steel out to 1,100 yards.

Edit: for clarification, the steel is 1 MOA plate.
