I just wanted to share the customer service I've experienced with these guys over the past couple of weeks.
I bought my first Defiance action a couple years ago; it was the anTi. I was trying to put together a lightweight mountain rifle and this action filled my needs very nicely over the past 2 seasons.
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago and a hot load i touched off in my rifle. It locked up the bolt! When I attempted to force it open, I snapped off the bolt handle with my bare hands! I was pretty bummed but called Defiance to see what they could do for me…
I spoke with Grant and he got a shipping label sent out immediately after the 15 minute phone conversation where I explained what happened. I sent them my entire barreled action because I had no way of removing the stuck handleless bolt. I was hoping, they'd just pull the bolt and simply attach a new handle, maybe build a new bolt in a worst case scenario.
They received the action a couple days later and Grant called to update me. He said he got everything pulled apart and was uncomfortable building a new bolt for my action. He said he'd build me an entirely new one.! They no longer make the anTi so he asked me to choose a different one.
I landed on the AnTi X but the story doesn't stop there!
He then asked if I'd like the entire action nitrided…
I only had the bolt done previously.
He also gave me an option to choose my own personal serial number!
I've never even heard of this!!
So, long story long…
Defiance is building me a significantly upgraded action… At no cost! 🤯
I will be a customer for life because of this unbelievable customer service.
This level of customer service and care has left me completely gobsmacked!
I can confidently recommend Defiance and will share with everyone I know moving forward.

That's amazing that they would stand behind damage your load did. I wonder if this is universal or they are trying to rebuild customer confidence.

This is my first experience with Defiance. I actually don't know what their reputation for customer service is but was so impressed with how they took care of me I had to share.

That's a stand behind for sure. I wondering you you did in overloading the round. I have pushed two primers out the back end of a case in two different times. One was because temp change, and the other was going to the max powder load as it's first time using that info. The box of bullets and loading data and I never used the again. The other I was using Temp sensitive powders at that time. I won't do that again. At the same time I didn't realize there was those problems with powders.
Have you ever figured out what you did wrong in the loading of those cases? I would want to know what I did wrong, and try and make sure I didn't cross that bridge again ever.
I believe that everybody goofs up now and then. The biggest thing you are still alive and well.
