I am looking to work up a load for 140gr Hornady SST's 270 Win with IMR4350. The others powders Varget and IMR4064 don't show as powders to use on their app. Anyone have a recipe that has worked for them to give me a starting point for what I have to work with?

I have already worked up a load for Sierra 130g SBT GameKings.

That was my go-to comb in 270win. I haven't loaded any 140's yet to help out.

I use Superformance with 145 ELD-X bullets, as well as the Hornady 140 Interlocks. Start at 54 grains and work up from there. This combo is laser beam accurate in both of my rifles with the loads that I have settled on, and impressive ballistic performance.

I agree. I use IMR4350 on my 270 130s. 54grs. Runs just over 3000fps . Would step back to 52 and work back up. Shooting 145 eldx in my other 270, shot very well also. Both are 1:10
I already have my IMR4350 130's dialed in the the GameKing at 55gr. That's a 3 shot group below for the round out of my Rem 700ADL with 24" barrel.

Working up the 140's now.

Somewhere between 52.5 and 54 grains of IMR 4350 will be your sweet spot. You will just have to shoot it and see. Load it where about two thirds of the canulure is showing. Always worked for me using SST's

You have any other powders available? Heavier than 130g I usually go for a slower powder. Shooting Hornady 140 BT with 59g Rel 22 in 22" barrel. You may want to work up to that though. Chrono said 3150 but I need to recheck it.

Start few grains under your 130 load and work up
Max load for the 140gr is 53grs. I started there and went down 1% from each level which is anywhere from 4-6grs. I went back for 10 rounds to 48.9grs. I will be shooting them next Monday to see how each groups with a 3 shot group. When I find the sweet spot(s) I will go up to 5 rounds.
